Remember I said that I was going to have a little treat for someone. Below is that treat and I will include a couple more items:) Just leave a comment on this post. You have until Friday night to leave a comment. This is for gals in the US...sorry...and you can't tell others about it.
Kailee and I made cupcakes today after school. We used a mix and added some mini chocolate chips:) Is there anything like too much chocolate?? NO
We used PINK canned frosting and she put sprinkles on her cupcakes.

Follow these STEPS to Really enjoy eating a CUPCAKE !!!! First step, have EXTRA frosting

Second pull the paper cup off the cupcake......

Break cupcake in HALF

Add the EXTRA FROSTING to the other half...lots of it
Take a HUGE BITE ...... and below is all that is left..... My next picture I accidentally deleted and I HATE when that happens... see the first photo :) :) :)

In between loading pictures, I was working on Valentines for the swap next Thursday evening...so it wasn't a complete waste of time. I took the pictures of myself while eating the cupcake...LOL LOL Not bad considering I was stuffing my FACE...
Below is all that is left....the wrapper and for a box mix it was YUMMY IN MY TUMMY

Sorry for all the space inbetween....SO...leave a comment if you want a chance for the little treats and I'll draw a name on Friday night.

Thanks Ginger for the housecleaning lead!!! I have friends who read my blog and don't leave comments!!! Which is fine. I just to say HI to all of them sometime. And for my pen pals who read this...the letter will be in the mail..SOON...
Another thing, Jan from Rose Haven....Guess what came in the mail....The Christmas Card...kinda weird and Thanks Jan....The little angel is sweet. I'm glad it came, even though it was almost 6 weeks after the swap. Do you think the mailman just found it...it looked a little ripped on the edges...
I'll be busy marking treasures for resell tomorrow and Friday as well as finishing up the Valentines for the card swap and just maybe go to a couple of estate sales this weekend.
I hope you gals are okay where the ice storm was and that no one is out of power...
Warmly,
Deb

I would like to be in the drawing. I always read your blog but I don't always leave comment, I'm just plain lazy. LOL
Oh, boy! A give away! Shhh, I won't tell anybody cause I want to win! I loved the pictures of you eatting the cupcake! I'm sorry it took you so long to do this post, but it was so worth it. Kailee looked so sweet icing her cupcake. Twyla
Oh Deb...I'm going to have to remember to add frosting to the bottom half of the cupcake...how clever!
Hugs,
Robin
Hi Deb... You are a riot! LOL ... Loved your photos and instructions for eating Cuppie Cakes! Kailee looked like she was really enjoying herself... such a sweet looking lil girl! I totally promise to keep your give~away a secret... just like Twyla, we want those winning odds in our favor! I got soooo excited when I saw the "Old Man" Valentine, Deb... he has a wooden cane just like mine! And, since I'm deaf in my right ear, and partially deaf in the left, I could use one of those "ear-horn" thingies, too! That card would be perfect if it had been an "Old Lady"... tee~heeeee! Your give~away goodies are certainly pretty, and anyone would be blessed to win... I hope that you have fun at the Estate Sale, and finds tons of treasures! I always enjoy seeing everything that you get... Have sweet dreams tonight 'n stay warm... God bless...
~hugs 'n prayers~

P.S. Cocoa sends lil puppy kisses♥
Enjoyed seeing your cupcake, I think the icing is the best part. Please enter me in your drawing. Thanks
My way is to break it down the middle and eat the halves one at a time and not cram it in my mouth and getting it all over my face if I can help it. I would rather eat a good cupcake than a piece of cake.
Ciao
Those cupcakes look wonderful. Wish I had one to practice those great tips you showed us. LOL
I have a giveaway going on now too. Stop by to enter.
Hugs,
Joanne
Thank you for your notes Deb! :) I will be putting a new felt on this morning...it has a little blue bird on it...but the "birds" are coming! I promise!
Your cupcake day looked perfect~
What is sweeter? I'm sure Sweet Kailee!
Hope your day is WONDERFUL!
Must go shovel....more....
:) Michelle
Hi Deb! Wow, you are so talented to be able to eat a cupckae AND take a photo of yourself eating ti! ☺ I hate to see my self eat. I chew like a cow! Ha-ha!
I'm trying real hard not to be jealous of you having you grandgirl so near. I honestly would be willing to pack up and move to be near my grands! But, hardly a week goes by that my son doesn't talk of moving somewhere else and like my husband says, we can't follow them all over the country!
Well, what a sweet V-Day give away! Can I enter for someone else? If I win, I want it to go to Pearl. Is that fair? ☺ ♥
YUM! I love cupcakes!
I would love to be entered into your drawing!
Blessings
Linda
hahahha This was so sweet! And now I want a cupcake soooooo bad!!
Have a great day!!!
The things we do for chocolate - you know, things like posting a picture of ourselves devouring a cupcake!! Hee! You're too much! What a great gal!
Hugs,
Sher
Hi Deb,
Your precious granddaughter looks like a true friend to have over for a visit. I hope you all fun and stay warm in your cozy nest!
Warm blessings,
Brook
Fun post. I never thought about eating a cupcake that way. I will have to remember that next time. Enter me in your cute give-away.
I'll bet you and K had such fun making and eating those cupcakes. I know it looks like it was enjoyed. I think your way of eating a cupcake is the "right" way. lol!
It seems like your part of the country is just getting blasted by winter and jack Frost. I can't imagine! Stay warm and safe. We're experiencing spring weather again...80s for today and tomorrow but the Santa Ana's will be blowing and the always concerns us (fires). So how many layers do you have to wear if you want to go anywhere when it's that cold?
Looks like a fun day with the granddaughter! Cupcakes are the bestest! You need to share your Valentine swap photos!
Have a great day!
Kim
How sweet to spend time with a grandbaby and make girly pink cupcakes and you can never have too much chocolate! I just got a Christmas card too addressed to our family but from total strangers!!!!
Roberta Anne

Hi DEB!!!!
Sorry I've not been by much! So much going on in my life..most of which has been stressful! We are surviving though! Its basketball season and my dd plays on Varsity with dh coaching JV's...so I am not home much during the weeks. That's life right now with a teenager and I wouldn't miss any of it!
No job for dh yet. Any news from you on that front? We are making do but would love to have something soon. A nice warm climate is top of MY list too! lol
Loved reading about cupcakes and your precious Kailee. How much fun the 2 of you must have! I miss those days my dd was small and loved to do those things. Now she's off driving in the car and gone to school most days! A different time in life for sure.
Hugs sweetie!!!
Lorena
Wow, looks delicous! I wanna bite ;) I was looking thru Martha Stewart Living and they had some of the cutest decorated cupcakes in the Feb issue. One was a monkey.
Oooohhhh Valentines! My favorite! Maybe some day I will find one with a cupcake on it. That would be cute!
Enjoy your cupcakes and Happy Valentine's Day, Lindsey
Hi Deb! Thanks for coming around to visit me:) Yes, Holly and I have too much fun sometimes, lol! She's a great lady!

YUMMY my Daughter and I went to Starbucks today and they had Red Velvet Cupcakes, I was in Heaven. My Grandma and my Mom used to always make Red Velvet cakes when I was little. I had to have one with my iced mocha. Cute pictures of you and your sweet Granddaughter. I would love to be entered in your drawing. Hope you find lots of goodies at your sales.
Hugs,
Kathy
Your talking to a cupcake lover here and boy do yours look good! I'd sure love one about now...with a tall glass of milk!
Hi Deb!
I've never eaten a cupcake like that but I'm gonna put icing in the middle from now on!! What a great idea! I don't know why I've never thought about that. MMMMMMMMMMM
Have a great weekend!!
Hugs, Sherry
That looks like so much fun!! What great memories are you making for your granddaughter:-)
I would like to be added in your giveaway.
Michelle
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...that looks tasty. I am avoiding such sweets since I am still trying to remove the Christmas two pounds I gained (and the rest I was working on losing too)
